Jonathan Fiteni has over 14 years of experience in the medical marijuana industry in general, and in the construction of marijuana facilities in particular. Mr. Fiteni is very educated and experienced in producing medical quality marijuana strains from seed to patient. He has designed and managed the building of numerous high-density growing facilities, requiring stringent construction standards. Using hydroponics and other sophisticated growing methods, he has successfully integrated complex electrical, dehumidification, HVAC and irrigation systems together to produce high quality organic marijuana products.
COO, Michelle Hackett
Michelle Hackett has a background in communications and psychology from Simon Fraser University. She has extensive sales and marketing expertise, including five years at Molson Canada. She is also well versed with the Health Canada regulations, as well as the complexities of interacting with marijuana patients and medical practitioners. Her expertise comes from ten years of assisting hundreds of patients to obtain Health Canada Medical Marijuana possession licenses, and subsequently helping them locate Health Canada designated growers to cost-effectively fulfill their prescriptions. Michelle brings over five years of experience in the capacity of direct at Medicann Corp. Michelle is totally dedicated and passionate about making the way patients get their medication a simple and streamlined endeavour.
Chief Financial Officer, Mark Forster
Mark Forster will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, continuing disclosure of the Resulting Issuer and the management of internal control procedures. He has over 25 years of financial accounting experience in banking, manufacturing of beer, wine, and spirits, the oil and gas industry and in the mining sector. He has been a director and the CFO of Teletouch Services Inc., a private technology company, since December 2004. He was a manager of Bearingpoint LLP, a management and technology company, from January 1996 to December 2006. Mark G. Forster was granted a CGA designation by the Certified General Accountant’s Association, BC in 1992.
Director, Judson Culter, CPA, CA
Mr. Culter has over ten years of international accounting, finance, audit, and capital markets experience. He has helped to raise over $20MM in private and public financings for start-ups and growth orientated companies in the Pacific Northwest, Asia Pacific, and South America. He has taken several mineral resource companies public, most recently the Dolly Varden Silver project (TSXV: DV), whereby he also managed the exploration drill program (pre-Hecla Mining investment). Mr. Culter is a CPA in British Colombia and a CPA in Washington State.
